FX is a company
focusing only
on shoulder arthroplasty
Since 2011, FX Solutions has been an innovator in the shoulder arthroplasty market in Europe and across the globe. What began as a quick entry into the market with a unique-to-market fracture system Humelock I®, provided unparalleled access to rapid growth and expansion. FX soon developed a complete portfolio and launched one of the first stemless reverse shoulder replacements [Easytech®] in the European market.
FX has become a leader in France in shoulder Arthroplasty, a large part of Europe, and in the rest of the world in less than 10 years with its well-developed portfolio.
With a constant goal of innovation and market expansion, in 2018 FX Shoulder USA was launched to gain market share in the US. FX Shoulder quickly adapted to the needs and trends of the US market and started to innovate first-to-market and unique-to-market enhancements to their existing portfolio.
FX has gone on to obtain key 510k approvals to further enhance the already comprehensive line of products focused exclusively on shoulder arthroplasty to include: 32mm glenospheres and humeral cups; stability humeral cups; glenoid baseplates with a central screw (with 7 different screw size options); and, the first-to-market Titanium Nitride (TiN) coated humeral heads and glenospheres as an alternate bearing surface; Easytech® Stemless Anatomical—the first-and-only primary stemless with peripheral fixation; and, most recently, FX Shoulder USA became the only company to successfully complete enrollment of a stemless reversed IDE study (G180100) in the US.
With an eye toward the future, FX will now continue to grow as a global leader in shoulder arthroplasty. One global brand with one global team of shoulder specialists. FX will emerge as a leading innovator in our market segment and continue to provide best-in-market options tailor-made with the goal of providing improved and reproducible patient outcomes.
FX will have a Global Headquarters based in Viriat, France and a US Headquarters in Dallas, TX.
Why Are They Using FX?
Michael P. Bradley, MD, MBA, MS: “I have switched my shoulder replacements to FX Shoulder because the products are sensational, the service and commitment to innovation are fantastic, and the rationale and history is steeped in the surgical demand and research coming out of better treatment algorithms for injuries to the proximal humerus. This company’s excitement to continue to improve outcomes for patients undergoing shoulder surgery is palpable and contagious. They will strive to be first to market with many exciting updates and advances.”
Howard W. Harris, MD: “The FX Solutions shoulder arthroplasty platform has provided a consistent, repeatable, and intuitive shoulder arthroplasty implant solution for a majority of my shoulder arthroplasty patients. The systems’ versatility allows for adaptability to meet patient anatomy variables without excessive equipment or being over-complicated for the surgeon or the surgical staff. The team at FX has also been responsive and innovative to develop and adapt the product line and instrumentation to improve based on feedback as well as meet patient and market demands for higher quality and lower cost surgical solutions.”
Todd C. Moen, MD: “In an age of over-engineering, the power of FX Shoulder implants and instrumentation lies in their ease of use. FX’s thoughtfully-designed instrumentation allows for the efficient and reproducible implantation of state-of-the-art shoulder implants and, ultimately, superior outcomes for patients.”
Uma Srikumaran, MD: “I have found the Fx portfolio to be unique in its ability to handle a wide spectrum of complex pathology with multiple options for shoulder arthroplasty while maintaining a tight and efficient inventory line. There are economies in the equipment that allow for fewer trays and simplicity for both the surgeon and supporting staff. The interlocking stem technology is also unique and has obviated the need for cementing techniques that are more time consuming and risky.”
